Mahindra has officially launched the Mahindra XUV 3XO with a factory-fitted CNG powertrain. With this addition, the SUV is offered with three internal combustion engine (ICE) powertrain options: petrol, diesel and CNG. Prices for the XUV 3XO ZNG start at Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 12.27 lakh. At this price point, it competes with the Tata Nexon CNG and Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG.

Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG: Powertrain Details
The XUV 3XO ZNG is powered by a 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged engine that produces 110 bhp and 200Nm of torque in both CNG and petrol modes. Mahindra claims a fuel efficiency of 24.7km/kg.

The SUV can accelerate from 0-60kph in 4.9 seconds and from 0-100kph in 11.8 seconds in CNG mode. The engine is paired exclusively with a manual transmission.
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG: Interior And Features
The entry-level MX Edge gets a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto, wired Apple CarPlay, cruise control, rear AC vents, a rear-view camera and a 60:40 split-folding rear seat. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ISOFIX child-seat mounts and three-point seatbelts for all passengers.
The REVX Edge (O) adds features such as a panoramic-style Skyroof, roof rails, electrically foldable outside rear-view mirrors, automatic headlamps and wipers, passive keyless entry and push-button start.
The AX5 variant gets a single-pane sunroof, LED projector headlamps, a six-speaker audio system, dual-zone climate control and Adrenox Connect with built-in Alexa.
The range-topping REVX A adds a Skyroof, Dolby Atmos audio, black leatherette seats, a dual-tone roof and 16-inch black-painted alloy wheels.
The SUV also gets average and instantaneous fuel economy displays, along with an NGV fast-filling valve. The CNG system uses twin cylinders positioned beneath the luggage area, allowing the SUV to retain a flat loading floor and 270 litres of usable boot space.
It gets a spare wheel mounted underneath the body.
