KTM has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Manaus, Brazil, with an installed capacity of 20,000 motorcycles annually. The plant, which began operations ahead of its official opening on October 14, will exclusively manufacture motorcycles for KTM and Husqvarna.
The facility has received an investment of around R$ 20 million and currently employs 100 direct and indirect workers. KTM expects to produce 3,500 motorcycles by the end of 2026, with production set to increase through 2027.

The plant will manufacture 10 models across the motocross, enduro and adventure segments. These include the KTM 250 SX-F and 450 SX-F, several EXC enduro models, Husqvarna FE 350 and TE 300 PRO, and the KTM 390 Adventure R and Adventure X.
KTM previously assembled motorcycles in Manaus through a partnership with Dafra Motos, which began in 2016. The new facility operates independently on a completely knocked-down (CKD) basis, handling engine assembly, motorcycle assembly, quality checks, packing and shipping.
The move is part of KTM and Husqvarna's broader operational restructuring in Brazil. The brands currently have 12 authorised outlets in the country and aim to expand this network to 30 locations by 2027.
