Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette has announced a new $85 million funding round led by deep-tech investors Yali Capital and TDK Ventures. The funding also includes investment from Lip-Bu Tan, Chairman of Walden International and an advisor to Ultraviolette, along with the company's existing investors.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to scale production of its existing F77 and X-47 electric motorcycles, as well as upcoming models including the Tesseract and Shockwave.
A key focus of the investment will be Ultraviolette's international expansion. The company is targeting the US market in 2027 and plans to expand further across Latin America and Southeast Asia.
