Yamaha XSR155: In Pictures

Yamaha Motor India has finally launched the XSR155 at an introductory price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle has been one of the most-awaited launches from Yamaha, as it shares its underpinnings and components with the R15 and MT-15. Let’s take a closer look at the newest Yamaha on the block.

The XSR155 features a neo-retro design inspired by Yamaha’s global XSR range.

It features a round LED headlight and taillight, with a classic retro overall design.

It also comes with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a flat, ribbed single-piece seat.

Powering the XSR155 is the familiar 155 cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.1 bhp and 14 Nm of torque.

The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch.

The XSR155 is available in four colour options – Metallic Grey, Vivid Red, Greyish Green Metallic, and Metallic Blue.

It also comes with two optional accessory kits: Cafe Racer and Scrambler.

On the equipment front, the motorcycle offers dual-channel ABS and traction control as standard.

The circular LCD instrument console includes Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha’s Y-Connect app, offering features like call alerts, ride data, and maintenance notifications.

Weighing 137 kg (kerb), the XSR155 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres.

The motorcycle has a seat height of 810 mm, ground clearance of 120 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres.

Like its siblings, the XSR155 is built on Yamaha’s Deltabox frame.

Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a monoshock at the rear, while disc brakes manage braking on both wheels.
