New-Gen Kia Telluride Revealed; Gets New Styling, More Space

Following a teaser released last month, Kia has now unveiled the all-new Telluride ahead of its global debut at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show. The second-generation SUV gets a revised design and is larger than before, which translates to providing more space inside.

The new-generation Kia Telluride features a noticeably more angular and upright design compared with the outgoing model. At the front, the SUV adopts a vertical LED lighting setup paired with a broad, squared grille. The surfaces around the bonnet and fenders are cleaner and more linear, moving away from the rounded look of the previous Telluride.

In profile, the vehicle has a boxier silhouette, with straight character lines and large, squared wheel arches. The wheels follow a geometric design theme that matches the sharper styling language. The rear continues the shift toward vertical elements, using tall LED tail lamps placed close to the edges. Spelt-out Telluride sits low across the panel.

The cabin of the new-generation Telluride moves toward a cleaner, more horizontal layout with most elements aligned along a straight beltline running across the dashboard. A wide touchscreen sits slightly elevated, while the digital instrument cluster is integrated into the same housing.

The centre console adopts a recessed cupholder section and a set of physical switches for functions such as heating, ventilation and drive modes. A flat storage deck ahead of the console includes twin wireless charging pads.

Moreover, the X-Pro trim of the Telluride gets blacked-out elements around the wheel arches, mirrors and D-pillars. The fascia has a mesh-pattern grille and a squared lower bumper finished in black. Beyond styling, the X-Pro sports all-terrain tyres, increased ground clearance of 231 mm, and hooks at both front and rear.

Kia hasn’t revealed full specifications for the new Telluride yet, with details on its powertrains and exact dimensions remaining undisclosed. That said, because it shares its underpinnings with the Hyundai Palisade, it is expected to share a similar set of engine options, the 2.5-litre hybrid setup and the 3.5-litre V6.
