Nissan Gravite MPV (Renault Triber Derivative) To Be Launched Early In 2026

It has taken a while, but Nissan's derivative based on the popular Renault Triber will finally arrive early in 2026. It's named Nissan Gravite, and along with releasing a few teaser images, the Japanese carmaker has confirmed it will be unveiled in full in January, before going on sale across the country by March 2026. The Gravite, which will be based on the same CMF-A+ architecture as its Renault cousin, will be manufactured at Renault's facility in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu.

Nissan Gravite MPV: What do the teaser images reveal?

To no one's surprise, the Nissan Gravite bears more than a passing resemblance to the Triber. The teaser images confirm it has the same clamshell bonnet and LED tail-lights seen on the Triber facelift, but with restyled headlights, a honeycomb black grille, C-shaped inserts on the redesigned front and rear bumpers. In profile, the Gravite is expected to mirror the silhouette of the Triber, but is likely to have different alloy wheels on the top-spec variant.

Nissan Gravite MPV: What will the powertrain options be?

Like the Triber, the Nissan Gravite, too, is expected to be offered with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine developing a peak 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). Nissan is expected to offer a dealer-level CNG kit as an option with the Gravite.

Tata Sierra Smart Plus Revealed In Official Pictures: What Do You Get For Rs 11.49 Lakh?

The reborn Tata Sierra has certainly turned heads in recent months. Launched in India last month, Tata only recently opened bookings for its SUV, walking away with 70,000-plus confirmed orders ahead of deliveries commencing in January. But while everyone will have their eyes on the top model with all its bells and whistles, what would someone get if they went for the base variant? Well, let’s take a look.

On the outside, buyers will be lacking in exterior colour choice. Buyers have three exterior finishes to pick from - Pristine White, Pure Grey & Coorg Cloud. Unlike in some other SUVs, the base model does get the full-width light bar along the upper edge of the blacked-out grille and the slim LED headlamps. Around the sides, the base model gets black finished steel wheels, though you still get the flush sitting door handles, and the C-pillar has been blacked out in a bid to harken back to the original Sierra’s large rear side windows.

At the rear, here too, you get the full LED taillamp set-up replete with a lightbar.

It's on the inside where the base Sierra’s flash value drops. There’s no infotainment system; a basic LED readout-style digital instrument cluster and the AC controls, shared with other Tata models, only offer basic adjustments for fan speed, heating and cooling.

Tata Sierra Smart 5

You get grey fabric seat upholstery with both front and rear outer passengers getting adjustable headrests - no headrest for the centre passenger. Comfort touches for the rear include sunblinds on the windows and rear AC vents on the centre floor console, though curiously, the Sierra in base trim lacks seatback pockets.

Tata Sierra Smart 8

A nice touch is height adjustment for the seat belts for the front passengers and a three-point seat belt for the rear centre passenger.

As for the features not visible in the images, the Sierra gets all-wheel disc brakes, the headlamps get a follow-me-home function, there’s also central locking with a folding key, electronic parking brake, 45W Type C USB charge port up front, tilt & telescopic adjustment for the steering, 6 airbags, ESP, ABS, traction control and rear parking sensors.
 Tata Sierra Smart 7

On the engine front, the base variant of the Sierra is available with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel units, both paired with manual gearboxes only. The Sierra Smart is priced at Rs 11.49 lakh for the petrol and Rs 12.99 lakh for the diesel model.

Triumph Tracker 400 Unveiled in UK

Triumph Motorcycles has expanded its 400cc line-up in the UK with the unveiling of the new Tracker 400, a retro-styled roadster inspired by classic flat-track motorcycles. While it is based on the Speed 400 platform, the Tracker 400 adopts the sportier engine tune from the Thruxton 400, positioning it as a more engaging and performance-oriented offering within Triumph’s small-capacity range.

triumph Tracker 400 edited carandbike 2

Visually, the Tracker 400 gets a clean, minimalist design that stays true to flat-track aesthetics. Key highlights include a flat and elongated seat, a slim fuel tank with pronounced knee recesses, and a short, stubby tail section that gives the motorcycle a purposeful stance. Details such as the round LED headlamp, tracker-style side panels, seat cowl, and sparse bodywork further reinforce its old-school appeal.

The cycle parts are largely carried over from the Speed 400. The Tracker 400 uses a hybrid perimeter steel frame, with suspension duties handled by upside-down front forks and a gas-charged rear monoshock. Braking is managed by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with road-focused, knobby-style tyres that complement its tracker-inspired look. On the feature front, the Tracker 400 is well equipped, offering full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, and dual-channel ABS as standard.

triumph Tracker 400 edited carandbike 6

At its heart is the familiar 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, shared with the Speed 400 but tuned to Thruxton 400 specifications. In this form, it delivers around 41.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 7,500rpm offering a strong mid-range punch. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

Despite being manufactured in India, the chances of the Triumph Tracker 400 getting launched in India are currently low, mainly due to the recent GST-related price hikes. However, with Bajaj reportedly working on a new 350cc engine to align with revised GST regulations, a 350cc-engined version of the bike could be considered for India launch.
