2026 Tata Tiago Facelift Interior Revealed

After previewing the exterior of the 2026 Tiago earlier this week, Tata Motors has now revealed the interior of the updated model ahead of its launch on May 28, 2026. Much like the exterior, the cabin too has undergone a fairly comprehensive redesign, with the hatchback receiving some notable changes.

The most obvious change is the completely redesigned dashboard. Unlike the outgoing Tiago’s slightly cluttered layout, the new cabin adopts a more minimalist theme. The dashboard now features a new floating touchscreen that sits higher up. Below it is a slimmer set of centrally positioned AC vents and a narrow row of physical toggle-like controls. Behind the two-spoke steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster housed in a separate floating pod.

Lower down, the centre console has also been completely reworked. The updated Tiago now gets a rotary gear selector instead of a conventional gear lever, while the gloss black centre tunnel integrates dual cupholders. Moreover, it also gets a dual wireless charging pad setup positioned beneath the climate control panel. Tata has also integrated USB charging ports above the tray.

The climate control unit itself gets a cleaner interface with rotary dials and a smaller gloss-black housing. Meanwhile, the front seats and door pads feature a new dual-tone grey and black upholstery theme. At the rear, rear AC vents can also be spotted behind the centre console, along with a Type-C charging port.

 

Feature-wise, Tata had already confirmed earlier that the updated Tiago will get a 360-degree camera system, evident from the cameras mounted on the ORVMs and front bumper. The touchscreen infotainment system is also expected to be larger than before and support wireless smartphone connectivity.

On the outside, the 2026 Tiago also gets a noticeable visual refresh, especially at the front. The earlier mesh-heavy grille has now been replaced by a cleaner gloss-black panel stretching between the headlamps, while the bumper has been redesigned with a larger blacked-out lower section and sharper detailing around the edges. The rear receives updated LED taillamps featuring a tri-arrow lighting signature connected by a black trim strip across the tailgate.

 

Mechanically, the hatchback is expected to remain unchanged. The Tiago will likely continue with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, offered with both manual and automatic gearbox options, while the CNG variants are also expected to continue in the lineup.

2026 Honda City Facelift Price, Variants Explained

Honda India rolled out the second facelift of the fifth-gen City recently with prices starting from Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift brings with it updates to the sedan’s styling, along with the addition of some much-needed features already offered by rivals in the segment. Mechanically, not a lot has changed with the sedan continuing to be offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol strong hybrid powertrain options.

2026 Honda City: Powertrains & Mileage

 

As with the outgoing City, the 2026 City facelift retains the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre petrol-strong hybrid powertrains. The former is good for 119 bhp and 145 Nm and is paired with a manual or CVT gearbox. The strong hybrid pairs an Atkinson cycle engine with two electric motors to offer a combined 125 bhp and 253 Nm. Power is sent to the wheels via an e-CVT unit.

 

In terms of fuel efficiency, Honda claims that the City e:HEV (strong hybrid) will return 27.26 kmpl while the standard petrol sedan has ARAI figures of 17.77 kmpl for the manual and 17.97 kmpl for the CVT.

Honda ZR-V Hybrid SUV Debuts In India; Deliveries Start In July 2026

Honda Car India has unveiled the ZR-V hybrid SUV ahead of its launch in the coming weeks. The ZR-V is only the second SUV in Honda's current portfolio in India, sitting a few rungs higher than the Creta-rivalling Elevate. It's also the first time Honda has launched a hybrid SUV in India. It will be available in four colours – white, grey and two different shades of black. Pre-bookings for the SUV – which will be shipped in from Japan as a completely built-up unit (CBU) – open today, and deliveries will begin in the second half of July, Honda announced at the ZR-V's India debut.

Honda ZR-V: Dimensions

 

The ZR-V is the largest car in Honda's India portfolio. Measuring in at 4,657 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width and 1,621 mm in height, the ZR-V is closer in size terms to the now-discontinued Hyundai Tucson than it is to the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron it will end up competing against. The ZR-V has a wheelbase of 2,655 mm, and the India-spec model rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

 

 

Honda ZR-V: Hybrid powertrain and efficiency

 

Under the hood, the ZR-V has a 2.0-litre, direct-injection petrol engine, which is paired to an electric motor. Combined peak power output is 181 bhp and 315 Nm of torque, which enables a claimed 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 7.9 seconds. Top speed of the Honda ZR-V is rated at 173 kmph.

 

More importantly, though, the strong hybrid system spells a high fuel efficiency figure of 22.80 kmpl for the ZR-V, which makes it one of India's most frugal petrol-powered cars.

 

 

Honda ZR-V: Interior and features

 

Step inside the ZR-V, and you're greeted by an all-black interior colour scheme, and a clean, sensibly laid-out dashboard. The India-spec ZR-V has leather upholstery with contrast stitching, soft-touch materials and metallic accents. A freestanding 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes pride of place on the dashboard, and the gear selector buttons are placed on the floating centre console. 

 

Equipment inside the ZR-V includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, powered front seats with a memory function for the driver's seat and a 10-inch digital instruments display.

 

Honda ZR-V: Safety features

 

The ZR-V comes with a total of eight airbags, including a knee airbag, as well as advanced driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, low-speed follow, lane keep assist and a driver attention monitor, among others.

 

Also included are disc brakes for all four wheels, hill start assist, hill descent control, front parking sensors and acoustic vehicle alert system for low-speed electric-only driving.

 

Honda ZR-V: Expected pricing

 

Honda is likely to announce the prices for the ZR-V in June, but the hybrid SUV is unlikely to be cheap, given it is a full import. We expect the ZR-V to be priced upwards of Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom), which would peg it against bigger premium SUVs such as the Kodiaq and the Tayron R-Line.

Starting with the City, the latest facelift has already been spied arriving at dealerships across the country, with images and videos painting a vivid picture of what we can expect. While its expected to remain mechanically unchanged, the sedan gets a revised fascia with a new mesh-design grille, sharper headlamps with integrated DRLs as well as a lightbar. The bumpers too are of the new design, front and rear, while the taillamps now look to feature clear lenses.
 

Inside, the big updates look to be in the form of new features including a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and a larger touchscreen sitting between the central air-con vents on the top variants.
 

Honda ZR-V
 

Currently in its third generation globally, the current ZR-V made its global debut in 2022 and is sold in global markets with a choice of petrol, turbo-petrol and strong hybrid powertrain options. For India, Honda has confirmed that the SUV will get a strong hybrid powertrain with the SUV arriving as a CBU import.

Measuring in at 4,568 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width and 1,620 mm in height, the ZR-V is expected to be placed as a rival to the VW Tayron and Skoda Kodiaq in the Indian market with prices expected to be north of Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

 

Speaking of the powertrain, the ZR-V hybrid features a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors developing a combined 181 bhp and 315 Nm of torque.

New VinFast VF8 Shrinks In Size, Makes More Power Offers 500 km Range

VinFast has unveiled the new-gen VF8 mid-size electric SUV ahead of it going on sale in international markets. A step below the flagship VF9 SUV, the VF8 receives a notable design redesign as well as new battery and electric motors and upgrades to the on-board tech.

New VinFast VF8: Exterior Design & Dimensions
 

VinFast has actually shrunk the VF8 in size, with the new SUV sitting on a 110 mm shorter wheelbase at 2,840 mm. Overall, the SUV measures in at 4,701 mm long - 49 mm smaller, 1,872 mm wide - 62 mm narrower and 1670 mm tall - 3 mm taller.

 

The new VF8 takes on a more contemporary design than the model it replaces, with smoother surfacing and sleeker detailing. The fascia is characterised by a prominent blacked-out enclosed grille that flows into a central intake lower down on the bumper. The headlamp design is also sleeker than on the outgoing model, with integrated segmented LED eyebrows. As on other VinFast models, the V-shaped lightbar design element is retained with the units flowing inwards from the headlamps.
 

In profile, the VF8 gets a redesigned glasshouse with a sharp upwards kink visible behind the rear doors and into a black strip at the top of the D-pillar to lend the SUV a floating roof design. The body lines too are sleeker than the outgoing SUV, with flush-sitting door handles and a soft beltline rising into a prominent rear haunch. The images do not provide a clear look at the SUV’s rear, though Vinfast says that the tail lamp designs are all-new; here too the V-shaped lightguides spanning the width of the tailgate are retained.

New VinFast VF8: Interior
 

Moving to the cabin, there are some notable differences between the new VF8 and its predecessor. The VF8 still features a minimalist cabin design, though the new dashboard features even fewer physical control surfaces and looks a lot sleeker. The flat dash-top is separated from the lower dashboard by a thin trim strip that spans the width of the unit with a large 12.9-inch central touchscreen - smaller than the 15.6-inch unit on the old VF8 - taking pride of place at the centre. The button-based gear selector too has been deleted, with the centre console only featuring wireless charging pads, cup holders and other storage cubbies.

A big change over other VinFast vehicles is the inclusion of a dedicated digital driver display behind the new two-spoke design steering wheel.
 

On the tech front, the new VF8 packs in features such as dual-zone climate control, an air purifier, a powered driver seat with memory function, 12.9-inch touchscreen with an embedded virtual assistant, 8-speaker sound system,  and ADAS tech. Notably, the images suggest that there is no sunroof offered on the new-gen SUV.

New VinFast VF8: Powertrain & Platform

 

VinFast claims that the new VF8 sits on a new in-house-developed electrical and electronic architecture featuring a Central Vehicle Computer with enhanced computing capabilities ‘to support quicker and smoother responses to driver inputs.’
 

For now, VinFast has only revealed one spec of the new VF8, with the second-gen SUV getting a bump up in power and torque - 228 bhp and 330 Nm as against 201 bhp and 310 Nm. Another big change is to the battery, which has shrunk from 87.7 kWh to 60.13 kWh. Range too is down over its predecessor with a claimed NEDC figure of 500 km compared to the outgoing VF8’s 561 km (NEDC). Fast charging time remains similar at 30 minutes for a 10 to 70 per cent charge.
 

The new VF8 will go on sale in VinFast’s home market of Vietnam in late July 2026.

Tata Motors has revealed the exterior of the 2026 Tiago and Tiago EV ahead of their launch on May 28, 2026. Both hatchbacks receive a noticeable styling refresh on the outside. Here’s a closer look at all the visible changes seen on the ICE-powered Tiago.

 

The 2026 Tata Tiago gets a handful of noticeable tweaks that freshen things up visually. Most of the updates are concentrated around the front end, which now looks cleaner and slightly sharper than before.

Up front, the grille area has been simplified considerably. The earlier mesh-heavy treatment has made way for a gloss-black panel stretching between the headlights. The bumper has also been reworked with a larger blacked-out lower section and more angular detailing around the edges. The vertical housings on either side of the bumper appear slimmer.

 

The headlamps themselves seem slightly revised internally, while retaining the overall shape. From the images, this variant also appears to get projector headlamps along with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs sitting above.

In profile, the silhouette remains familiar, although the dual-tone alloy wheels are new and carry a more EV-like aerodynamic pattern compared to the older car. At the rear, the tail-lamps feature revised LED detailing with a tri-arrow style lighting signature. The black insert running across the tailgate visually connects the lamps, while the bumper has also been refreshed with a larger black section.

 

While Tata Motors is yet to reveal the cabin in full, a few details are already visible from the first set of images. Cameras mounted on the ORVMs and front bumper confirm that the updated Tiago will get a 360-degree camera setup, which is new for Tata’s entry-level model. The interior itself is also expected to receive a round of updates, likely including a revised instrument cluster, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and more.

 

Under the hood, things are expected to remain unchanged. The Tiago will likely continue with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, offered with both manual and automatic transmission options. The iCNG version is also expected to remain part of the lineup.

Nissan Tekton SUV To Debut On July 9

Nissan’s long-awaited compact SUV, the Tekton, will make its global debut in India on July 9. First previewed back in 2025 alongside the Gravite MPV, the Tekton is Nissan’s derivative of Renault’s new Duster with the two SUVs sharing the same RGMP architecture and also set to share powertrain options and tech.

Renault Triber Now Gets Auto Climate Control, One-Touch Second-Row Folding Seat More

Renault has updated the Triber for the new model year, with prices starting at Rs 5.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The updates for the new model year look to focus on comfort and convenience, with the bulk of the changes coming in the form of new features.

2026 Renault Triber: Feature Revisions
 

Starting from the base Authentic trim, all variants of the Triber now get a fully folding second-row bench seat with a one-touch tumble function for easy access to the third row. The new seats allow for greater cargo room, with Renault claiming a boot space of up to 1065 litres with the second-row seat folded down.

The Evolution trim, meanwhile, now offers steering-mounted audio and telephone controls along with a day-night adjustable rear view mirror and a rear cabin light. These features were previously offered from the higher Techno trim onwards.
 

Second-row seats get a new one-touch folding mechanism for easier operation.

The Techno variants, meanwhile, get features that were previously reserved for the fully loaded Triber. These include a height-adjustable driver's seat, a rear defogger, a front centre armrest, 12V power outlets in all three rows and a 6-speaker audio system including 2 tweeters - compared to a 4-speaker set-up on the outgoing model.
 

The fully-loaded Triber Emotion is now offered with auto climate control for the first time, with the subcompact MPV getting Kiger-style dial-based controls with embedded readouts.

2026 Renault Triber: Powertrain

 

There are no changes to the Triber’s powertrain options, with buyers still offered the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine good for 71 bhp and 96 Nm paired with a 5-speed manual as standard. A 5-speed AMT is offered as an option on the top spec trim.

New 720kW EV Charging Station Opens On Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Electric vehicle charging infrastructure firm ChargeZone has inaugurated a new Mega Charging Hub on the Mumbai-Pune expressway in collaboration with Tata Motors’ EV arm Tata.ev. Installed at the Khalapur rest halt on the westbound side, the facility provides charging facilities for up to 10 vehicles.

The charging facility comprises 5 dispensers, each featuring two charge guns capable of charging at a peak rate of 240 kW in normal mode and up to 360 kW in boost mode. ChargeZone says that total installed capacity at the new hub is 720 kW. The new charging hub is the 75th such installation inaugurated under the collaboration between Tata.ev and ChargeZone.

Speaking on the occasion, Kartikey Hariyani, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, ChargeZone, said, “Highway charging is the backbone of intercity electrification, and that backbone needs to be built at scale and built right. The launch of the Mega Charging hub at Khalapur marks a significant milestone in our journey to build a high-power, future-ready EV charging network across India. With a 720 kW capacity, this installation sets a new benchmark for public charging infrastructure in the country. Maruti Suzuki Posts Record Sales In FY2026; 1.90 Lakh Bookings Pending

Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has posted record sales both in the previous financial year as well as the previous quarter. Country’s largest carmaker said that it achieved total sales of 24,22,713 units in FY2026 which was significantly more than the 22,34,266 units it sold in FY2025. This included domestic sales of 19,74,939 cars while 4,47,774 vehicles were exported making the company the largest exporter of cars from India.

 

The beginning of 2026 also brought cheer to the Maruti Suzuki as it recorded its highest ever quarterly sales. 6,76,209 vehicles were sold during the period which was up 11.8% from Q4 FY2024-25. Domestic sales were at 5,38,994 units while exports were at an all-time high of 1,37,215 units. However during this time, the net profit declined by 6.9% year-on-year to Rs. 35,905 million. A company statement said currently there are 1.90 lakh pending orders of which 1.30 lakh are small cars.

A major reason given by the management for these record breaking sales was the lowering of GST rates on cars by the Centre. Talking to the media post declaration of annual financial results, R C Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki said, “Every year we will see growth in car industry as demand has again revived. Government has understood that lower tax will benefit the economy. Actual tax collections have gone up despite the GST rates going down”.

The BSA Scrambler 650 is based on the Gold Star 650, and is powered by the same 652 cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, DOHC engine that produces 45 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, the 652cc single is all about strong mid-range torque, which is quite likeable, as we have experienced while reviewing the Gold Star 650.

Design & Features

 

The BSA Scrambler 650 draws inspiration from its heritage of scramblers. Unlike the roadster-styled Gold Star, the Scrambler 650 gets a tall-ish stance, with a flat and wide handlebar, slightly upswept exhaust, 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel shod with block pattern tyres for mild off-road duty. On the features list, the Scrambler 650 comes with an off-set and round instrument console, and standard dual-channel ABS and traction control. 

Chassis & Suspension

 

The Scrambler 650 is built around a twin cradle tubular steel frame, along with a tubular steel swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by 41 mm diameter telescopic forks with 138 mm travel up front and twin shock absorbers with 5-step preload adjustability at the rear, with 127 mm travel. The braking system is by Brembo, with a single 320 mm floating disc on the front wheel gripped by a two-piston caliper, and a single 255 mm disc up front, with a Brembo single-piston caliper.

Dimensions & Weight

 

The BSA Scrambler 650 comes with 208 kg kerb weight and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres. Saddle height is 820 mm and the wheelbase is 1,485 mm.

 

Price & Availability

 

The BSA Scrambler 650 is priced from Rs, 3.25 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the Raven Black colour option, going up to Rs. 3.41 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the Thunder Grey colour options. The variants differ only in the colour scheme and there are no mechanical differences for the different colour variants. The BSA Scrambler 650 will be available on sale from the end of April, 2026.
