Shortly after its spy shots surfaced on the internet, Bajaj Auto has launched the updated Pulsar 220F at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.28 lakh. The update introduces new paint options and, more importantly, adds dual-channel ABS, while the rest of the motorcycle remains largely unchanged.
Visually, the Pulsar 220F retains its familiar design, including the semi-fairing. However, the updated version gets refreshed graphics and new colour schemes: black with copper accents, and green paired with orange, while black highlights are consistent on both new options. The red and blue, paired with black, continue to be on the colour palette.
Beyond these updates, nothing else has changed. Power comes from the 220cc, air- and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.6 bhp and 18.55 Nm of torque. The Pulsar 220F also carries over the Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster seen on other Pulsar models.
One of the longest-running models in the Pulsar lineup, the 220F has consistently been among Bajaj’s better-selling offerings. It has garnered considerable attention from riders across all age brackets since its launch in 2007. Bajaj Auto had discontinued the model in 2021 following the launch of the 250 series, but brought the 220F back in 2023.
Priced at Rs 1,28,490, the updated version is roughly Rs 1,200 more expensive than the previous model, which was priced at Rs 1,27,269 (ex-showroom).

Mahindra has previewed the interior of the upcoming XUV 7XO (XUV 700 facelift) for the first time in a new teaser video. Set to debut on January 5, 2026, the new video confirms that the internal combustion SUV will receive the triple screen display first seen on Mahindra’s new ‘Born Electric’ XEV electric SUV family, along with some of the other features.
New triple screen layout in the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO
The teaser video provides the first clear view of the upcoming SUV’s dashboard, revealing a design that looks to have been lifted straight from the recently launched XEV 9S. An almost edge-to-edge display sits atop the dashboard on a shelf-like element wrapped in tan leather. The teaser also confirms that the new SUV will feature the brand’s latest Adreno X+ Connect tech. A closer look at the driver display reveals a layout that doesn’t seem to have changed much compared to the XUV 700 and also confirms the presence of drive modes in the SUV.
Digital instrument cluster & central touchscreen; drive modes, dual-zone climate control & Alexa integration confirmed.
Moving to the touchscreen, confirmed tech visible includes dual-zone climate control, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa integration, WiFi support and over-the-air software update capabilities. The dedicated co-driver display, meanwhile, offers video streaming capabilities along with letting users browse social media content.
Co-driver display offers video streaming and social media browsing capabilities.
Other confirmed features visible in the video include a powered co-driver seat with boss mode, ambient lighting on the doors and dashboard, mounting points for tablets on the front seatbacks with a charging port, sunshades on the rear doors, rear AC vents and a panoramic sunroof can also be glimpsed. The XUV 7XO will also get a dual-tone upholstery finish, pairing what looks to be beige or tan with a lighter white or grey.
Co-driver seat is power adjustable and gets boss mode; the mounting point for a tablet holder is visible on the seat back.
Moving to the exterior, previous teasers have provided a glimpse at updated wheel designs, new light clusters and parts of the grille.
Gets dual tone upholstery, ambient lighting & a panoramic sunroof.
Under the hood, the new 7XO is set to carry over the engines from the XUV 700 - the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel unit, both paired with manual and automatic gearbox options.
Mahindra has opened pre-bookings for the new XUV 7XO in India from December 15, with the SUV set to take on the recently launched MG Hector facelift, Tata Harrier & Safari when it is launched in January.

JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2026 Hector facelift with introductory prices starting from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift marks the third major update to the SUV, which was originally launched in India in 2019 with subsequent updates coming in 2021 and 2023. The latest updates bring with it yet more cosmetic updates to the exterior, along with a new interior colour scheme and updated tech. For now, the 2026 Hector will be offered solely in petrol guise in 5-seat or 7-seat layout, with the diesel variants and 6-seater model due to arrive in 2026.
Starting things off, the 2026 Hector gets a revamped grille design with new vertical louveres design and finished in chrome. MG calls it the new Aura Hex grille, and from the images, it is likely to split opinion. The front bumper, too, gets a redesign with a larger single-piece central air vent with a silver surround. On the whole, the Hector looks slightly more imposing from the front.
Moving to the sides, the changes come in the form of new 16-inch Aura Bolt dual-tone alloy wheels. The remainder of the body work is unchanged. Similarly, at the rear, the design has barely changed over the outgoing model, save for a revamped rear bumper. Finishing things off is a new blue paint finish.
Moving to the cabin, the biggest change is the new dual-tone colour scheme. The outgoing model’s ivory and black (5-seater) and brown and black (7-seater) have been replaced by a new beige and black colour scheme in the top model. The remaining cosmetic elements are unchanged.
On the feature front, the biggest change is to the touchscreen. While the display size remains unchanged, MG says that it now supports multi-finger swipes to control various in-car functions. Two-finger swipes horizontally and vertically control air-con functions, while a three-finger swipe can change the soundtrack or adjust screen brightness. MG says that the touchscreen also benefits from an upgraded RAM. Also updated is the 360-degree camera function, which now gets a ‘wheel view’ function.
Moving to the mechanics, MG has confirmed that the 2026 Hector carries forward with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit from the outgoing model, offered with manual and automatic gearbox options. The diesel model is set to arrive sometime next year.
The 2026 Hector will go up against the soon-to-debut Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Harrier and Safari and the Jeep Compass.

A lightly camouflaged test mule of the upcoming Skoda Slavia facelift has been spied testing on Indian roads. The compact sedan, launched in India in 2022, is due for a mid-lifecycle update sometime in 2026, with the latest test car images providing a clearer look at the updated design.
Starting at the front, the trademark Skoda butterfly grille looks to feature a revamped design, while the headlamps look to get tweaks to the internal lighting elements. The bumper design is new, with a redesigned central air vent, while fog lamps are visible on the bumper. Down the sides, no notable changes are visible with the sedan continuing to feature a sharp shoulder line running down its length. The alloy wheels, meanwhile, look to be of a new design with the black finish suggesting that it could feature on a Sportline or Monte Carlo variant.
Round the back, the changes are expected to be focused on the rear bumper design as well as tweaks to the lighting elements.
In terms of features, the facelift is expected to help Skoda play catch-up with some of its more feature-rich competitors, such as the Hyundai Verna, with upgrades likely to come in the shape of a new infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and other features. While ADAS tech is also likely, the test mule featured here did not seem to house a sensor module or camera for the same at the front.
On the powertrain front, expect the pair of 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engines to soldier on, with both likely to get manual and automatic gearbox options.
The updated Slavia is expected to be launched in India sometime in 2026 and will go up against the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the VW Virtus - the current segment best seller, which is also due a facelift in the coming year.
JSW MG Motor India has released yet another teaser of the upcoming Hector facelift ahead of its debut in the coming days. The latest teaser provides a glimpse into the SUV’s cabin while confirming bits such as the upholstery colour as well as a new alloy wheel design. Prior teasers had hinted at a new look front bumper and grille as well as a new blue exterior paint shade.
The latest teaser suggests that cosmetic changes to the cabin are likely to be just to some of the softer elements, with the basic design unchanged from the current SUV. The teaser reveals brown leatherette upholstery on the seats and dashboard, which could suggest that the carmaker could do away with the white leatherette upholstery offered on the Hector 5-seater. The Hector Plus already gets a brown-and-black cabin colour combination, with the teaser also previewing the SUV's three-row layout.
There is no confirmation yet on the features offered, though we could expect updates to the touchscreen, instrument console and maybe even to the ADAS tech on board the top variants. MG could also add more features to better compete with the likes of the Mahindra XUV 700 (soon to become XUV 7XO) and the Tata Harrier & Safari.
Additionally, recent spy shots have surfaced of the new Hector SUV, which reveals the full extent of changes to the front end. The shape of the grille is unchanged from the outgoing SUV, though the new chrome-heavy grille finish is likely to split opinion.
Moving to the engine line-up, expect the same set of 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines to soldier on. The petrol is set to be offered with either a manual gearbox or CVT, while the diesel is likely to remain manual-only.

Nissan will provide the first look at its upcoming B-MPV (read entry MPV) on December 18 ahead of its expected launch in 2026. The new MPV is expected to share its underpinnings with the Renault Triber and has been spied testing on Indian roads on several occasions.
Going by the spy images and the teasers shared by Nissan, the B-MPV is set to receive its own unique front fascia design, though the overall proportions are set to be in line with the Renault MPV. The Nissan MPV is expected to measure in just below the 4 metre mark while featuring a stepped roof design to ensure adequate headroom in all rows of seating.
Speaking of the fascia, images of the test mule and teasers suggest the presence of a large grille flanked by neatly integrated swept-back headlamps and large C-shaped trim elements lower down on the bumper. The teaser also suggests a flowing design to the MPV with the A-pillar’s rake neatly integrated into the design. Towards the rear, expect the MPV to get a unique design for the tailgate to stand out from its platform sibling.
Mechanically, the MPV is likely to adopt the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine from the Triber. The unit develops 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque in the Triber and is offered with manual and AMT gearbox options.
Prices are expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2026, though we expect it to command a marginal premium over the Renault Triber.
Mini India has launched the new Cooper S Convertible in India at an introductory price of Rs 58.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the drop-top derivative of the iconic Cooper hatchback opened last month with deliveries expected to start soon. The Mini Convertible is available in India as a CBU import and in a single variant.
On the design front, the Convertible looks nearly identical to the Cooper hatchback, save for the roof. The fixed hard top of the hatch is replaced by a fabric soft top that Mini says can be opened and closed in up to 18 seconds at speeds of up to 30 kmph. The fabric soft-top also comes with a sunroof mode - just slide open the section above the front seat. Mini is offering four colour options to pick from - British Racing Green, Chilli Red, Ocean Wave Green and Sunny Side Yellow. Buyers also get two 18-inch wheel designs.
Inside, the cabin design is identical to the latest Cooper hatchback, with a heads-up display in front of the driver and a large, circular 13.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard features a knitted pattern finish to the top with minimal physical buttons.
On the feature front, the central touchscreen packs in Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with a built-in voice assistant and navigation. Occupants also get power-adjustable sport seats up front - with driver memory, a Harman Kardon sound system, rear view camera, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, auto climate control, tyre pressure monitoring, and Level 1 ADAS functions.
Moving to the powertrain, the Cooper S Convertible gets the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine good for 201 bhp and 300 Nm paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. Mini claims a 0-100 kmph time of under 7 seconds and a top speed of 240 kmph.
