Having introduced a lifetime battery warranty with the Harrier EV, Tata Motors has now extended the benefit to the Curvv EV coupe-SUV and the Nexon EV 45. Tata says the lifetime battery warranty will extend to both new buyers and existing owners, but will only be applicable to privately registered vehicles. The Nexon EV MR with the 30-kWh battery is not covered by the lifetime warranty.
Commenting on the move, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, said, “By democratising premium EV technology, we have played a significant role in advancing India’s EV category’s exponential growth. One of the key factors behind this growth is the ability to instil confidence amongst customers for a worry-free ownership experience. Today, we are proud to extend this feeling even further with the introduction of the Lifetime HV Battery Warranty solution for all customers of the Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 kWh. By offering this unprecedented assurance, we are enabling a truly carefree, future-ready ownership journey for every TATA.ev buyer.”
Additionally, Tata Motors has said that it is also extending benefits of up to Rs 50,000 to existing Tata owners looking to buy the Nexon EV and Curvv EV. Tata is currently offering benefits of up to Rs 1.71 lakh and Rs 1.41 lakh respectively for the Curvv EV and Nexon EV in the market with unsold 2024 model year units.

MV Agusta S.p.A. has announced that it has completed the separation from KTM which has returned 100 per cent ownership of the company to Art of Mobility, its former owners. In January this year, KTM’s parent company Pierer Mobility had announced that it was selling MV Agusta to the Sardarov family, who previously had full ownership of the Italian motorcycle brand. The transaction is now complete with Art of Mobility getting full control of MV Agusta.
“This is a moment of pride for all of us at MV Agusta. Regaining full control of the company means we are now stronger and more focussed than ever on delivering excellence. Over the past two years, the company has significantly strengthened its processes, systems and workforce. Art of Mobility has also announced MV Agusta’s new leadership team with Luca Martin appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Martin had previously served as MV Agusta’s deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer. Hero MotoCorp’s all-electric sister-brand Vida has just rolled out an introductory offer on its latest electric scooter, the VX2, thereby reducing its price. Essentially a rebadged version of the Vida Z, the VX2 is the second electric scooter model line from the brand. With the offer, the VX2 Go can now be had for Rs 85,000 or Rs 45,000 while opting for the battery-as-a-service option model (Baas), while the higher-capacity VX2 Plus is now offered at Rs 1 lakh or Rs 58,000 (Baas). This makes the Go variant up to Rs 15,000 more affordable than before, while the price of the Plus is now nearly Rs 10,000 less than before.
The scooter is offered with removable battery packs. The base variant can hold a single 2.2 kWh battery, with 92 km of IDC range, while the Plus can accommodate two batteries with a combined capacity of 3.4 kWh (142 km IDC range). Both variants, however, get the same swingarm-mounted 6 kW motor. Top speed for the base Go is rated at 70 kmph, while the Plus can be pushed to 80 kmph. With the roll in of the new month, Maruti Suzuki has refreshed its list of discounts and benefits offered on models across its range of passenger cars. With sales of its small cars starting to slow in recent months, India's largest carmaker is offering some substantial discounts on its range of small cars for the month of July 2025. Here is a look at the discounts available on the cars being retailed via Maruti’s Arena dealership chain.
Maruti Suzuki Alto
Up to Rs 70,000 off
Once the king of the sales charts, the Alto has in recent years fallen from its perch with Maruti witnessing month after month of declining sales in the entry level segments. The Alto, now sold solely in K10 guise, is being offered with cash and exchange benefits amounting up to Rs 70,000, depending on the variant and powertrain. The Alto is offered with the tried and tested 1.0-litre, three-cylinder K10 petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. A factory CNG powertrain is also offered. The hatchback was also upgraded with additional safety features, including six airbags, earlier this year.
Compared to Maruti’s other small cars, the S-Presso has received a bit of a cold reception in the Indian market. The tall-boy hatchback with its odd-ball proportions hasn’t quite been the sales success as other models such as the Alto and Wagon R over the years with many S-Presso's nowdays only seen operating in the fleet markets. The small hatchback shares its underpinnings with the Alto K10, replete with engine, gearboxes and CNG options though unlike the Alto, it’s yet to be upgraded with additional safety kit over the standard dual airbags, ABS and ESC. The hatchback is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 65,000.
Maruti’s budget van comes in varying use cases, from panel vans suitable for hauling cargo to ambulances and as people movers with seating for up to seven. Select five-seat variants also offer air conditioning, targeting buyers wanting something for personal use. The Eeco has withstood the test of time, with the van being updated to meet the latest regulations including getting the K-series petrol engine to meet emission regulations and in its latest update, getting six airbags as standard. The Eeco is being offered with up to Rs 40,000 off, depending on the variant. As with other models in Maruti’s range, the Eeco is offered with petrol and CNG powertrain options.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Up to Rs 70,000 off
A step up from the likes of the Alto and S-Presso, the Celerio is being offered with up to Rs 70,000 off, depending on the powertrain and variant. The Celerio comes powered by the familiar 1.0-litre K10 engine in petrol and CNG guise, with the former getting manual and AMT options. The hatchback is priced between Rs 5.64 lakh and Rs 7.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
Up to Rs 1 lakh off
The Wagon R’s formula has change little over the years, with the latest-gen car continuing the tried and tested formula of a tall boy hatchback offering a roomy and comfortable cabin. However, unlike its predecessors, the current hatchback is offered with two engine options – the tried and tested K10 mill in both petrol and CNG guise across all variants, with the top models also getting the option for the larger and more powerful 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, K12 petrol engine. The Wagon R is being offered with substantial discounts and benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh, depending on the variant.
The fourth-gen Swift arrived in the Indian market in 2024 and marked the debut of the new, more efficient 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine. One of Maruti’s first small cars to offer six airbags as standard, the Swift is offered in both petrol and factory CNG guise. Both are offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, with a 5-speed AMT option offered for the petrol powertrain. The Swift is being offered with a mix of cash and exchange benefits amounting up to Rs 88,000 for the month of July 2025.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Up to Rs 23,000 off
The second-gen Ertiga offers a compelling package for anyone wanting a sizeable family car without needing to break the bank. One of the more affordable compact MPVs in the market, the Ertiga has found success both in the personal mobility and fleet markets with the MPV a common sight on the roads both as private vehicles and as seven-seater CNG taxis. The Ertiga comes powered by Maruti’s 1.5-litre four-cylinder K15 petrol engine – a unit it shares with the Brezza and Grand Vitara. A 5-speed gearbox is standard though buyers also get the option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic with the petrol powertrain. Given the demand for the MPV it only attracts benefits of up to Rs 23,000.
The Brezza is one of Maruti’s most popular models in the market and one of the bestselling subcompact SUVs in the segment. The boxy SUV, currently in its second generation, is powered by the same 1.5-litre, petrol engine as the Ertiga with select variants also getting the added benefit of mild-hybrid technology. As with the Ertiga, buyers can option between a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox and there is a CNG option offered too. Maruti has also upped the feature game with the Brezza with top variants offering goodies such as a heads-up display, 360-degree camera, 9.0-inch touchscreen and more. The subcompact SUV is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 90,000.
Discounts vary from city to city and dealership to dealership. Please contact your local Arena dealers for more accurate information.

Aston Martin has pulled the wraps off the new Vantage S. With the suffix, it has become sharper, more focused and is set to make its dynamic debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Taking cues from the DBX S, this is the most hardcore version of the smallest coupe the British marque makes and will be seen for the first time in public charging up the hill climb in the coming weeks.
At the heart of it lies a reworked 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, which now makes 680bhp and 800Nm making it the most powerful Vantage ever. With a 0–100kmph time of just 3.3 seconds, it has shaved off a colossal ‘0.1’ seconds of the previous go-fast version of the Vantage. Top speed remains unchanged at a blistering 303kmph.
And more importantly, the S isn’t just about straight-line speed. Extensive tweaks have been done to the chassis, damping, and throttle calibration to promise sharper turn-in, greater agility, and a more connected drive. There’s a new throttle pedal calibration for added feel and precision, claims the carmaker. There’s a 10% reduction in transmission mount stiffness brings in additional refinement by controlling the powertrain movement to the body and chassis.
In terms of appearance, the Vantage S gets its own identity with a new bonnet blade, a full-width rear spoiler that adds 111kg of downforce, discreet ‘S’ badging, and unique 21-inch wheels. Meanwhile, the interior ups the ante with Alcantara-leather trim, satin carbon fibre accents, and a bespoke anodised drive mode selector available in red or silver.
First deliveries are expected by the fourth quarter of 2025, with the Vantage S being available in both Coupe and Roadster body styles.

Bentley Motors has pulled the wraps off the EXP 15 concept, offering a first glimpse at its vision for electric vehicles. The production model, previously referred to as a “luxury urban SUV,” is set to be unveiled next year, with the EXP 15 concept said to 'provide clues’ of what to expect from Bentley’s first all-electric vehicle. The right-hand-drive concept measures over five meters in length and features an all-wheel-drive system, though specific performance details remain under wraps for now.
The EXP 15’s design gels elements of a sedan, SUV, and grand tourer. Bentley says the concept draws inspiration from the 1930 Bentley Speed Six Gurney Nutting Sportsman Coupe, known as the "Blue Train." In place of a closed-off EV-specific front grille, the EXP features a stylised, glowing unit. The front lighting design also strays far away from Bentley’s stylemark round headlights, opting instead for slim, vertical units.
Although the EXP 15 lacks an engine, it retains the signature trait of Bentley’s past models, a long hood. This hood includes two storage compartments that open like the piano-hinged bonnet of the 1930 Bentley. At the rear, the vehicle features taillights shaped to resemble the brand’s winged B badge. The exterior is finished in Pallas Gold satin paint, inspired by the nickel accents of the classic Gurney Nutting coupe.
As for the interior, the concept adopts an unconventional three-seat layout – two front seats and a single, sideways-mounted rear seat – akin to the configuration of its 1930s inspiration. The passenger seat is electrically adjustable and swivels outward by up to 45 degrees. Other features include deployable picnic seats in the boot, bundled with a beverage cooler.
The ‘Wing Gesture’ dashboard is dominated by digital displays, including a slim instrument panel in front of the driver that extends across to connect with a secondary passenger display.
Bentley has stated that the EXP 15 serves as a preview of the brand’s future design language. Key elements of its exterior styling are expected to appear on Bentley’s first electric vehicle.

Suzuki has added two new retro-styled roadsters to its middleweight sportbike range. The Suzuki GSX-8T and Suzuku GSX-8TT are based on the Suzuki GSX-8R, and share the same 776 cc, parallel-twin engine and electronics, but have “classic” aesthetics to underscore their neo-retro design language inspired by Suzuki roadsters from the past. The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT also share the same electronics and chassis as the GSX-8R but have distinctive retro-inspired design inspired by the Suzuki roadsters from the 1960s and ‘70s.
The GSX-8T takes design inspiration from the Suzuki T500, produced between 1968 to 1975, but combines the classic aesthetic appeal with contemporary styling and modern technology. It sports a circular LED headlamp, flat and wide handlebars with bar-end mirrors and muscular fuel tank with capacity increased to 16.5 litres, compared to the GSX-8R’s 14-litre fuel tank. The GSX-8TT takes design inspiration from the Yoshimura Suzuki GS1000, although the 8TT is more of a café racer, with the distinct headlight cowl and bellypan.
Both the 8T and 8TT share the same engine shared with the GSX-8R and V-Strom 800 DE. The 776 cc, parallel-twin features a 270-degree crankshaft and puts out 82 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of peak torque at 6,800 rpm. The two neo-retro roadsters also have the same tubular steel frame, non-adjustable KYB suspension, and Dunlop RoadSport tyres on 17-inch wheels with the same sizes – 120/70-ZR17 front and 180/55-ZR17 rear. Braking duties are handled by radially-mounted four-piston Nissin calipers with 310 mm front discs and a 240 mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper.
On the features list, the new Suzuki GSX-8T and GSX-8TT use the same TFT console with smartphone connectivity as the other GSX models. The electronics suite is shared with the GSX-8R which includes traction control, non-switchable ABS, a bi-directional quickshifter and three ride modes. The features list also includes Suzuki’s easy-start system and low rpm assistance to prevent engine stalling at slow speeds.
The Suzuki GSX-8T weighs 201 kg, while the GSX-8TT weighs 203 kg, and both bikes have a seat height of 810 mm with identical ground clearance of 145 mm.
Suzuki Motorcycle India has not confirmed the launch of either the GSX-8T or the GSX-8TT in India. In India, Suzuki doesn’t offer the naked GSX-8S on sale as well, and only the GSX-8R is available, priced at Rs. 9.25 lakh (Ex-showroom). UK prices for the Suzuki GSX-8T have been announced at GBP 9,599 (approximately Rs. 11.21 Lakh under current exchange rates), while the GSX-8TT UK price is at GBP 9,999 (approximately Rs. 11.68 lakh).
Considering the naked GSX-8S is yet to be offered on sale in India, it remains to be seen if Suzuki will consider launching either the GSX-8T or the GSX-8TT in India.

With the festive season fast approaching, automakers are lining up many new launches. Adding to the list is Renault, which will launch the new Triber MPV on July 23. The MPV will be launched with an updated design and many new features in the cabin. However, the drivetrain options are likely to remain the same. The Triber was launched way back in 2019, and since then, the MPV hasn't got any major design or feature upgrade.
Currently the Triber starts at Rs. 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new-gen Triber has been spied testing on roads several times over the last few months. Spy shots indicate that the new model will have a revised grille along with redesigned bumpers which get new low-set fog lamps as well as air intakes. The MPV could also get redesigned headlights as well as tail lamps. A new wheel design can also be seen on the test mule and the brand could offer alloys on the higher trims.
The cabin has been a guarded secret, though the MPV could also get some features in the new generation. The Triber comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, digital cluster, wireless charger, PM 2.5 filter and 3-rows of seats. Renault is likely to continue with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which comes with manual and AMT options. Whether it also gets the 1.0 turbo engine from the Kiger remains to be seen. The MPV is also available with a CNG kit option which is retrofitted at the dealer level.
The French carmaker has planned a slew of launches in India over the next one year. The new Triber will closely be followed by the Kiger facelift later in the year, thought though the exact date for that is still not confirmed. 2026 will see the return of an iconic nameplate to India - the Duster which will also be launched in a 7-seater avatar, named the Boreal.

Two-wheelers sales registered the biggest drop in June

Two-wheeler sales witnessed a much bigger drop with a total of 14,46,387 units being retailed down 12.48 per cent when compared to May 2025. However, sales grew by 4.73 per cent when compared to June 2024. Commercial vehicle sales also dropped by close to 3 per cent with a total of 73,367 being retailed in June.

The highest selling two-wheeler brand in June was Hero Motocorp (3,93,832 units) followed by Honda and TVS.
CV sales also saw a slight drop when compared to May
FADA President C S Vigneshwar said, "Heavy rains and tight market liquidity weighed on footfall and conversion, even as elevated incentive schemes and fresh bookings lent selective support. While festival and marriage-season demand provided a boost, financing constraints and intermittent variant shortages moderated sales. As we enter July 2025, dealer sentiment appears tilted towards slowdown".
