Bentley EXP 15 Concept Unveiled; Previews Brand's First Electric Vehicle

Bentley Motors has pulled the wraps off the EXP 15 concept, offering a first glimpse at its vision for electric vehicles. The production model, previously referred to as a “luxury urban SUV,” is set to be unveiled next year, with the EXP 15 concept said to 'provide clues’ of what to expect from Bentley’s first all-electric vehicle. The right-hand-drive concept measures over five meters in length and features an all-wheel-drive system, though specific performance details remain under wraps for now.

Bentley EXP 15 EV Concept 1

The EXP 15’s design gels elements of a sedan, SUV, and grand tourer. Bentley says the concept draws inspiration from the 1930 Bentley Speed Six Gurney Nutting Sportsman Coupe, known as the "Blue Train." In place of a closed-off EV-specific front grille, the EXP features a stylised, glowing unit. The front lighting design also strays far away from Bentley’s stylemark round headlights, opting instead for slim, vertical units.

Bentley EXP 15 EV Concept 2

Although the EXP 15 lacks an engine, it retains the signature trait of Bentley’s past models, a long hood. This hood includes two storage compartments that open like the piano-hinged bonnet of the 1930 Bentley. At the rear, the vehicle features taillights shaped to resemble the brand’s winged B badge. The exterior is finished in Pallas Gold satin paint, inspired by the nickel accents of the classic Gurney Nutting coupe.

Bentley EXP 15 EV Concept 4

As for the interior, the concept adopts an unconventional three-seat layout – two front seats and a single, sideways-mounted rear seat – akin to the configuration of its 1930s inspiration. The passenger seat is electrically adjustable and swivels outward by up to 45 degrees. Other features include deployable picnic seats in the boot, bundled with a beverage cooler.

The ‘Wing Gesture’ dashboard is dominated by digital displays, including a slim instrument panel in front of the driver that extends across to connect with a secondary passenger display.

Bentley has stated that the EXP 15 serves as a preview of the brand’s future design language. Key elements of its exterior styling are expected to appear on Bentley’s first electric vehicle.

New Renault Triber Launch On July 23

With the festive season fast approaching, automakers are lining up many new launches. Adding to the list is Renault, which will launch the new Triber MPV on July 23. The MPV will be launched with an updated design and many new features in the cabin. However, the drivetrain options are likely to remain the same. The Triber was launched way back in 2019, and since then, the MPV hasn't got any major design or feature upgrade.

Renault Triber facelift 2

Currently the Triber starts at Rs. 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new-gen Triber has been spied testing on roads several times over the last few months. Spy shots indicate that the new model will have a revised grille along with redesigned bumpers which get new low-set fog lamps as well as air intakes. The MPV could also get redesigned headlights as well as tail lamps. A new wheel design can also be seen on the test mule and the brand could offer alloys on the higher trims.

Also Read: Renault Triber Facelift Spied Testing; Previews Updated Design

The cabin has been a guarded secret, though the MPV could also get some features in the new generation. The Triber comes with an 8-inch touchscreen, digital cluster, wireless charger, PM 2.5 filter and 3-rows of seats. Renault is likely to continue with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which comes with manual and AMT options. Whether it also gets the 1.0 turbo engine from the Kiger remains to be seen. The MPV is also available with a CNG kit option which is retrofitted at the dealer level.

The French carmaker has planned a slew of launches in India over the next one year.  The new Triber will closely be followed by the Kiger facelift later in the year, thought though the exact date for that is still not confirmed. 2026 will see the return of an iconic nameplate to India - the Duster which will also be launched in a 7-seater avatar, named the Boreal.

The KTM 390 Adventure X will soon receive the full electronics suite from the top-spec 390 Adventure

With the update, the KTM 390 Adventure X is all set to receive the full electronics suite from the more expensive top-spec 390 Adventure. We’ve also been informed that the reason for rolling out an update just months after its launch is because KTM’s customers prefer the more feature-packed 390 Adventure over the 390 Adventure X, despite the lower price tag on the latter. Hence, prompting a correction, the Adventure X will now get electronic rider aids such as IMU-powered cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, cruise control. The bike will also come with three ride modes - Road, Rain and Off-Road, each with different throttle maps.

Also Read2025 KTM 390 Adventure First Ride Review

However, the motorcycle will remain the same on the mechanical front, featuring non-adjustable suspension, 19–inch front and 17-inch rear cast alloy wheels shod with Apollo tramplR dual-purpose tyres. The KTM 390 Adventure X will continue to be powered by the same ‘LC4c’ 399 cc, single-cylinder engine as the 390 Duke. The liquid-cooled mill churns out 44 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque on the motorcycle. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, aided by a bi-directional quickshifter.

While the updated 390 Adventure X will be more expensive than the outgoing model, it will still provide good value for money, especially considering that it will be almost Rs 50,000 more affordable than the top-spec 390 Adventure. This is despite the fact that both variants will be identical in terms of features save for wire spoke wheels and fully adjustable suspension, which isn't really a deal breaker unless you’re a hardcore off-road enthusiast.

Delhi Pauses Fuel Ban On 10-Year-Old Diesel, 15-Year-Old Petrol Vehicles

Just days after implementing a ban on the sale of fuels to 10-year-old diesel and 15-year-old-petrol vehicles, the Delhi Government has put the order on hold. In a letter to the Commission for Air Quality Management, Delhi Environment Minister, Sardar Majinder Singh Sirsa cited technological hurdles as well as a phased implementation of the ban in Delhi and the National Capital Region as reasons that made enforcing the ban difficult.

Sirsa, in his letter, said that while cameras for the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system had been installed at fuel pumps across Delhi, the system could still be prone to glitches, improper installation and more. He also cited that the lack of integration of vehicle databases for other cities in the NCR also created issues of identifying vehicles.

Delhi Traffic

Furthermore, he cited the lack of implementation of the ban in the wider NCR as another cause of concern stating that overage vehicles could simply move to Delhi’s satellite cities to refuel thus avoiding the rules.

The new fuel ban has also not been well received by the Petrol Dealers Association in Delhi. As per reports, the Delhi Petrol Dealers Association has filed a plea with the Delhi High Court challenging the mandate of denying fuel to End-of-life vehicles.

The fuel ban however could make a return once the ANPR system has been mandated across the entirety of the NCR though as per reports, the Delhi Government is also considering an emissions-based ruling instead of issuing an outright ban.
